Comedians to rock the wild side
These comedians have come together to deliver stand-up comedy and entertainment galore in a new show, 'Comedy Combo'.
Household names such as Mpho Popps, Skhumba Hlophe, Sifiso Nene and David Kau promise a night of laughs at the Wild Coast Sun on Friday, May 17.

Popps started his career on the national comedy search TV show, ‘So You Think You Are Funny’. He was recently nominated for Comedian of the Year in the 2024 Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards.
Nene has recently toured the country, sharing his hilarious relatable struggles in ‘Baby Mama Drama 2’.
Kau needs little introduction, having been in the game since 1998 when he was the country’s first black stand-up comedian at the 1998 Smirnoff International Comedy Festival in Cape Town.
Also, part of the entertainment is social media comedian, Thato Joseph Matshifane, who reached more than 1.3 million followers on TikTok earlier this year.
The 2022 DSTV Comedy Awards Best Comedian is fresh off the success of last year’s solo tour, ‘As I was Saying’, and Sis Maria, one of four characters he portrays, will be bringing it for the ladies as she (he) rounds-off the line-up.
