Margate Angling Club enjoyed a wonderful outing to Lake Eland recently despite some chilly weather.
While the weather wasn’t good, all anglers caught fish, so all in all, it was a successful competition.
Irma Botes with the biggest carp for the weekend, a 3.7kg beauty.
Winning bag went to Juan Dixon. Jayda Bloem was the U11 winner, and Divan Dixon was the junior winner.
