The Sinenkani Football Club is mourning the death of its staunch supporter, Nkosinathi Kufa, famously known as Gubevu ZN.

In a statement, the club said Kufa died in a tragic accident at the weekend.

“It is with sadness that we announce the untimely passing of one of our top supporters. Gubevu was not just a supporter but an integral part and the embodiment of the values of the Stubborn Nation (Sinenkani FC). We have lost a dear friend, a brother and a pillar of support. Indeed, the Stubborn Nation is broken by the untimely loss, but we urge the masses to be strong and support his family,” read the statement.

On Monday this week, the football club management, Umkhumbi WamaMpondo management, Kaizer Chief supporters, and the Mbizana Branch supporters visited Gubevu’s family to show support during this difficult time.
