Project rolls out to beautify community park in Scottburgh

The goal is to make this small woodland area which overlooks the Mpambanyoti River as it makes it way towards the ocean, a family-friendly spot.

The Keep Scottburgh Beautiful Association team is focusing on getting broken glass and discarded bottles removed from the Scottburgh Community Park.

This is to ensure the grounds will be safe for people to use.

Together with this, general brush clearing and grass cutting is also being done.

The goal is to make this area a place where family and friends can come together and enjoy the scenery of this small woodland area which overlooks the Mpambanyoti River as it makes it way towards the ocean.

The park space in Scottburgh offers stunning views.

On completion, the team hopes to have many beautiful memorial/legacy/family gardens, picnic areas with park benches/tables and a braai area. The park will be lit at night for additional safety and security, and several security cameras will be installed with 24-hour surveillance as well.

More hands are always needed for projects such as this, and it would not be possible with donations. If you are able to help with community project, WhatsApp

Remember, Keep Scottburgh Beautiful is a community-driven non-profit organisation. All funds raised go towards general maintenance, initiatives and upliftment projects to help create a cleaner, greener and more beautiful place to live.
