THE Banana County Radio Control Racing Club ended the year on a high.
The club managed to retain the KwaZulu-Natal Championship title for 2013.
This was a magnificent achievement as Banana County is one of the smallest clubs, but is packed with talent.
Shane Kok was provincial champion in three classes, namely M-Chassis, Open Stock and 1/10 Pan, with Dwaine de Winnaar winning TT01 Modified and Tristan Baxter TT01 Stock.
The club also had its last race day of the year at Douglas Mitchell Sports Club.
The race day was very enjoyable and finished off with prize-giving and a social braai at the track.
Denkit Hobbies sponsored the year-end trophies.

Shane Kok is the chairman for NRDA for 2014 with Jeff de Winnaar as club representative.
