A MIDWEEK mixed trips sponsored by Hibberdene Pharmacy was held recently and won by John Hodge, Ann Matthysen and Louise Shone.
Second prize was won by Arthur Seager, Joey Venter and Ashley Taute.
Session prize was awarded to Bruce Hoyer, Hana Svoboda and Estelle Quinn.
The regular drawn mixed trips was won by Arthur Seager, Callie Quinn and Louise Shone. Second prize went to Jan Venter, John Hoyer and Estelle Quinn. Session prize was won by Norman Aiston, Dudley Isemonger and Judy Aiston.

WINNERS of the recent Hopden’s Spar women’s 2-4-2 were Dora Vosloo and Helen Proctor on 4+31.

The next sponsored tournament is the Halfway Toyota open trips to be played on Friday, January 10 at 1.30pm.

It is with deep sadness and regret that we have to report the death of
Marie Hibbins. Marie loved her bowls (she played on Thursday afternoon)
and was club secretary until recently.

THE mixed trips was played on December 19 and won by Dave Banks, William Mackenzie and Pam Gilson.
Runners-up were Hedley Meek, Joan Lindley and Sergio Ruperto.

VILLAGE
ALL bowlers are wished a happy and healthy new year.
The first bring and braai will be held this Friday (January 3) when the RAC draw will take place – all welcome.
It is hoped the greens will be open on Saturday, January 11. The club will still be open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4pm until 6pm – so come and catch up with your friends.
The next planned competitions are the Hibiscus Retirement Villages’ men’s trips on Tuesday, January 14, the Martin Electronics men’s 2-4-2 on Thursday, January 16, the Wingnuts Plumbing mixed 2-4-2 on Monday, January 20 and the Execudec mixed 2-4-2 on Tuesday, January 28.
