ALL the newly selected Kingfisher district teams got together to accept their district colours for the new season.
The women for the open, senior, B side and president’s teams played against the equivalent men’s teams just before the main presentation ceremony.
For the open men’s team, Dave Barber and Brian Douthwaite were promoted from the B team.
Vi Pells was promoted from the women’s B team to the open team.
The new district B team members are Cosmos Gumede, Rodney Forte and Barry Payn, as well as Barbara Brook and Georgie McKechnie.
KBA president Lynne Bamber congratulated all the team members on their selections and wished them all the success they deserve.
