THE social pool league started last week, despite not having a title sponsor. It has not deterred the players and the league will go on, with 15 teams taking part. The first game of the season was played last Wednesday (February 12). Three new venues have been added, namely The Fork and Pub, Smokey Joe’s and JJ’s Hideaway.
The purpose of the league is to promote social pool, as well as to bring business to the local pubs as games are played every Wednesday night at the participating venues.
