Puppy training off to good start

K9 Puppy Academy started off the year well and has just graduated the second class of 2014 with the third class to follow in two week’s time.

There is a good mixture of small, medium and large dogs and the puppies are learning to socialise and differentiate between the dogs of different sizes. Timid ones blossom, aggressive ones learn respect and the confident ones pull the group together. This is very rewarding work. It is hoped that puppy owners will continue their training, as a stimulated dog is a happy dog.

Do not give your puppy an old shoe to chew, as you will have a very difficult task trying to explain to it that it may gnaw at the old takkie, but not your trendy high heels.
