Southbroom tennis champs start Monday

UVONGO Tennis Club hosted Southbroom Tennis Club for a mixed doubles competition last Sunday. Four teams each played in the boiling heat – Uvongo will have to check its water bill! The Uvongo players won the competition, Southbroom losing gracefully and downing some drinks to get over the defeat. Thank you, guys, for your hospitality and a very pleasant afternoon followed by a braai.

The Southbroom 2014 championships will start on Monday, March 24, to be played through to the end of April. The number of entries is even higher than last year. David Crouwkamp is responsible for organising the matches. Please check the blackboard.
