HAPPY New Year to all Umtentweni Tennis Club members and tennis players – both locals and visitors, as well as all the holidaymakers.
Members wish you a year filled with good health and happiness and, to the visitors, safe travelling as you return home.
Members can be thankful for the rain, even though it puts a ‘kibosh’ on tennis, as parts of the North Coast are under water restrictions at the moment.
Wednesday tennis was good last week so it made up for Saturday being washed out. Visitors are welcome to join in social tennis every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon from 2pm, weather permitting.
Members wish Isabeau le Roux a speedy recovery from her injured hand and broken finger which she incurred when trying to separate her Staffies, Bindi and Gaby – again!
Take this time to rest and regain your strength, Isabeau, so that you’ll be ‘fris en fiks’ when you get back on the courts.
The club has three members who celebrate their birthdays on January 3, is this a record?

Angus Black is wished a good trip to Dubai to see his son and members who have been away are welcomed back.
