New gym in town creates fitness buzz
The gym has only recently opened, and already the group workout sessions are creating quite a buzz in the South Coast community.
THERE is a new gym in town.
LiveIt High Intensity Gym, soon to be LiveItCrossFit, has recently opened its doors in the bottom floor of the Marburg Youth Centre.
This gym is the first of its kind to hit the South Coast, and is expected to meet the demands of those seeking overall fitness on a level they’ve never been able to achieve before.
The LiveIt experience is different from traditional gym training in just about every way, with an emphasis on endurance and practical, real-life strength, and range of motion used in day-to-day life.
The gym offers scaled programmes to help people from various levels of fitness backgrounds achieve their goals.
“What sets our gym apart is that the camaraderie, intensity, and challenge is unmatched by any traditional gym. We create a completely new workout experience, with instructor-led sessions, which change daily,” said LiveIt manager, Richard Harrell.

The gym also boasts having an onsite playroom for the children of members, plus new state-of-the-art Rebel Fitness equipment, and a clean, spacious facility.
The high-intensity fitness trend was first created and made popular in America, and now has exploded to over 9000 gyms worldwide.
LiveIt members can compare their daily results with those from all around the world, which offers motivation and a sense of community fitness.
The gym has only recently opened, and already the group workout sessions are creating quite a buzz in the South Coast community.
“It is exhausting, and pretty hard, but it is so much fun, because of the team spirit, and the workouts change every day. It is not boring,” said new gym member, Nele Geesmann.
Sessions are held Monday through Friday at 6am, 8am, 4.15pm and 5.30pm.
