Ugu to host international netball tourney
Make use of this opportunity to support the country.
THE ‘Diamond Challenge’, a first for the Ugu region, will see netballers from across the continent descend on the South Coast next week.
South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Uganda will battle it out for top honours at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre from June 16 to 19.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to watch some high-class netball, right on our doorstep.
Two players from KwaZulu-Natal will be playing, namely Bongiwe Msomi and Precious Mthembu.
Entry to the venue is free.
Fixtures:
Tuesday, June 16: 6pm – South Africa vs Zambia; 7.45pm – Malawi vs Uganda.
Wednesday, June 17: 6pm – South Africa vs Malawi; 7.45pm – Zambia vs Uganda.
Thursday, June 18: 6pm – Malawi vs Zambia; 7.45pm – South Africa vs Uganda.
Friday, June 19: (Finals) 6pm – 3rd qualifier vs 4th qualifier; 7.45pm – 1st qualifier vs 2nd qualifier.
