Football rivalry takes to the fairways
The contest has been dominated by the Red Devils in recent times.
ONE of the oldest rivalries in sport is that between football teams Manchester United and Liverpool.
Here on the South Coast, both clubs have many supporters, and Pro-Vision hosts an annual clash at Port Shepstone Country Club between the golf-playing supporters of these two teams.
This year’s event will be held this Sunday, October 18, with tee-off times from 8.30am.
It’s an open tournament and the format is a betterball Stableford. If you are not necessarily a supporter of either team, you can always adopt a team for the day.
Bring your friends along. There are two sheets at the pro shop, so book your name either on the Liverpool or Man United sheet.
Double draws will be done on Sunday. Don’t miss out, great prizes to be won.
