This ‘one-of-a-kind motoring festival’ featured some of the country’s top drifters, from brothers Gavin and Brendan Puren, Joey Govender, Paulo Gouveia, Chris Lansberg to Shane Ferreira displaying their talents and the rubber-burning action from very early in the morning.

Visitors watched the drifters tear up the tar with a high-speed tandem drift show by stepping into the cockpit for ‘suicide rides’ on the drift track.
While the track boiled, crowd favourite from last year’s event, emcee and Ignition presenter on DStv, Vic Pardell, popularly known as Africa’s loudest white boy, made a return to the resort to ensure that he kept the crowds entertained throughout the day.

The organisers said that they just loved what they created with event.
“It’s so cool to see so many families out there getting involved and having such a brilliant time while enjoying all the incredible drift cars,” said general manager of the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino, Myan Moodley.
