Jeremy earns the ‘Top Gun’ title
Three challenging ranges were set for the day with a fun ‘On-the-Go’ 10 clays walking shoot held at the end.
ALFRED County branch of the KwaZulu-Natal Hunting and Conservation Association had a very good turnout of 38 guns for the Niel Adie Memorial Clay Pigeon Shoot at Hillstream Estates in Paddock last weekend.

Three challenging ranges were set for the day with a fun ‘On-the-Go’ 10 clays walking shoot held at the end. Shottists and families stayed for the braai afterwards to end off a great day.
Many thanks to George from Constantia Fertilizer for the donation towards the shoot and to all who helped make the day a success. Results were that Barry Cole and Jeremy Cole tied for ‘Top Gun’ with a score of 38 out of 50 clays.
Jeremy also won the ‘On-the-Go’ 10 clays shoot-out which ultimately earned him the ‘Top Gun’ trophy. Luke Jenkins came third with a score of 36 out of 50. There was also a tie for the top juniors with 27 out of 50 for Kevin Walsh and Peter Forsythe.
Peter beat Kevin in the shoot-out and third place went to David Thomson. The trophy for ‘Top Lady’ was won by Chinade Dunstone, followed by Chloe Clegg in second and Simone Rossler came third. The trophy for ‘Most improved from previous years’ went to Luke Jenkins.
