Christo Henderson takes Warriors rugby helm, renews focus
There have been some changes to the committee.
Christo Henderson has been involved with the South Coast Warriors Rugby Club for a number of years now.
Up until this point he has served as a coach – and occasionally a player in an emergency – but will now lead the club as chairman.
He loves the game of rugby and is keen to see the Warriors enjoy a successful season next year.
His vice-chairmans for the 2017/2018 season will be Pieter Smith, André Koekemoer, Gerhard Steyn, Niko Potgieter and Carl Nolte.
One of the first things he’s looking to get going is the annual South Coast 7s tournament, which will now be in its fifth edition.

This will take place at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground on Saturday, February 24, all day.
“It’s around the corner, and we would like to make it bigger and better than before,” he said.
