Spain’s gain is Tweni’s pain
Tweni members would like to congratulate Uvongo TC on its beautifully re-surfaced courts and wish members lots of smashing tennis throughout the year.
FEBRUARY has arrived and with it humidity galore, but tennis goes on and especially at Umtentweni Tennis Club where five courts courts were utilised once again.
Matt Holmes and a friend were welcome visitors and it was good to have Shauna Hudson and Brett Kjonstad on the courts again.

Members welcome new member, Gerald Bunge, to the club and wish him many hours of great tennis at Tweni.
All members were extremely pleased with the committee’s decision to make Chloe Dutton an honorary member in recognition of her 26 years as a member of the club, several of which were spent as chairman.
She is going to be sorely missed when she emigrates to Spain.
A bring-and-braai will be held to bid farewell to Chloe on February 16. If it rains on the 16th, it will be held on the 23rd.
Members are encouraged to make every effort to be there so that we can give Chloe a good send off.
