Top 10 finish for Sunshine Tour pro Andrew
It was great to see Andrew Curlewis find some real form again.

ANDREW Curlewis of Margate Country Club recaptured some golden form at the Sunshine Tour’s RAM Cape Town Open to finish in the top 10.
He really set things alight with a second round 64, but the weekend wasn’t as good, which could probably be put down to minimal tournament play.

Still, it’s nice to see his name on the first page of the leaderboard again.
In regular news, Hilary Hendry, Lizzie Meyer and Connie McArthur won last Tuesday’s competition on 92 points.
Runners-up were Wilna Olkers, Maureen Pitcher and Lexley Lewis on 86 points.
Wednesday Wobblers alliance was won by Ernie Janse, Peter Hunter and Roy Nolan on 82 points.
Next were Freddie Boshoff, Eddie Gommersall and Bob Weanie on 75 points, followed by Otto Mutschler, Brian Pitcher and Alan Davies on 74 points.
Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Cyril Greensmith, Piet Pretorius and John Gibson on 66 points.
Last Thursday’s competition was won on 42 points by Alan Davies, by three from Jurgen Feeder.
Nearest the pins, sponsored by Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach, were Graeme Massam (2nd) and Harold Olkers (11th).
In the combined betterball Stableford last Saturday, Angus McLachlan and Robin Shuttleworth took first prize on 72 points, counting out Carlos Perreira and Sydney Shingange.
In third place were Peter Hunter and Pierre Malherbe on 69 points.
Nearest the pins were Alan Davies (2nd) and Mike Lee (11th).
The women’s Connie Day competition was won by Jane Davies and Hilary Hendry, followed by Chiappini Boshoff and Lizzie Meyer, then Maureen Ogilvie and Wondra Bothma.
