SOFT rains have soaked Port Shepstone Country Club, with the result that it’s playing longer than usual.
It’s also playing a lot tougher than usual, with the rough in serious need of a trim.

Last Wednesday’s alliance was won on 83 points by Johann du Plessis, George Bowie, Thys Eckhout and Allan Rowley.
Saturday’s alliance saw George Raman, Justin Pillay, Koko Zithumane and Ronnie Mtshaka take first place on 90 points.
Four adrift were Brett Pollington, Jacky van Heerden, Dirk Brand and a ‘ghost’.
In third place on 84 points were Paul Geoffery, Sanjay Singh, Abel Yeeranna and Ian Stewart.
It’s a betterball bonus bogey this Saturday (23rd).
