Five medals for Nelzaan at Level 2 champs
The club's swimmers bagged 23 medals at the meet.
BLUE Ocean Aquatics swimming club returned from the KZN Level 2 provincial championships with six gold medals, seven silver medals and 10 bronze medals.
This was due to the hard work put in by the swimmers who competed and made the finals and then went on to medal in the the finals.

Medal winners were as follows:
Winé Koekemeor – bronze 100m and 200m backstroke.
Ava-Mae Lilje – gold 50m breaststroke, bronze 100m freestyle.
Hannah Scott – gold 100m and 200m backstroke, silver 50m backstroke.
Nelzaan Strydom – gold medals 50m butterfly, 200m freestyle, 100m freestyle, silver 200m individual medley, bronze 50m freestyle.
Tharien Venter – bronze 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle, 100m and 200m breaststroke.
Nabil Bejia – silver 200m breaststroke.
Ricardo Carthew – bronze 200m individual medley
Mason Hielckert – silver 100m freestyle and 200m individual medley.
Jordan Grobler – silver 200m backstroke.
Alexandros Robbetze – silver 50m breaststroke.
