Upon arrival at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday, your scribe (Jean Marx) was dismayed to find only four players there – one of them being Morgan Reddy who paraded in with six plates of delicious goodies for tea.

We thought we might be having a feast of note but more folk arrived a bit later and all tucked in.
There were several hard-fought sets on four courts with the winners only making it by the narrowest of margins.
With the sun behind the clouds for most of the afternoon and a cool breeze blowing, nobody became too over-heated.
Aspiring members are requested to contact Chairman, Dan Dimitriu at 083 6316176 for details or come and join members on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 2pm onwards. Visitors are always most welcome.
