Pro pips amateurs
It's great for the local amateurs to get to play alongside a golfer of his quality.
SUNSHINE Tour pro Colin Nel won the individual Stableford last Wednesday on 39 points, three ahead of Peter Stoppel, with evergreen Jacky van Heerden third on 35 points.
The alliance last Saturday was won on 87 points by Graham Fabricius, Paul Geoffery and the father and son duo of Paul and Leon Bunge.

Runners-up on 86 points were Piet Snyman, Leon Van Wyk, Louis and Liana Klopper, followed by Rob Piers, Leon Reeders, Leif and Jane Holmstedt on 85 points.
There was a fair amount of festivity the next morning for the bowls fundraiser.
Winners were Barry van der Veen, Justin Hinchliff, Des McClean and Greg Small on nett 56.
Runners-up on nett 58 were Brett Pollington, David Nicholas, Louw Vermeulen and Hew Hodgson, followed by Piet and Louise Snyman, Louis and Liana Klopper on nett 58.5.
