Gold medals for Daniel and Gemma
The club had five swimmers participate at the championships.
BLUE Ocean Aquatics Swim club took part in the South African Level 3 Regional championships in Bloemfontein recently.
It was one of three championships that took place in the country at the same time as the other regions in South Africa.

The club had five swimmers participate at these championships, namely Amber Vorster, Gemma Allchin, Daena Robinson, Hannah Scott and Daniel Fisher.
The club won two gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals.
Gemma Allchin won gold for 50m breaststroke, silver for 100m breaststroke and bronze for 200m breaststroke.
Daniel Fisher won gold in 50m breaststroke and silver for 100m and 200m breaststroke.
Hannah Scott won silver in 100m backstroke and Daena Robinson won bronze in the 50m breaststroke.
“Their hard work is reaping the rewards. With continued commitment and dedication, the sky is the limit,” said coach Mandy Koegelenberg.
