Trophy time for Claude at Southbroom TC

THERE was a Wimbledon vibe at Southbroom Tennis Club recently when the doubles and mixed doubles championships were played for the year.

Club members (active and social ), visitors, family and friends all turned up and filled the clubhouse and surrounds.

They supported their favourites, cheering and clapping.

Mixed doubles was won by Claude Venter and Nicky Momberg. In the women’s doubles, Renee Purtell and Mary Rawlins teamed up to take the trophy.

The men’s doubles was won by Rolf Gudegast and Claude Venter. Thanks were extended to Tiago’s for the sponsorship.
