Shore fishing was also pretty bad with little to no luck for many who braced these conditions.
There were, however, a few good ones reeled in during the course of last week.
On boat Wotalotigot, skippered by Wikus van Kraayenburg, some great catches included white edge rockcod, soldierfish and a stunning peacock rockcod.
The peacock rockcod is also known as the peacock hind or blue-spotted grouper.

This fish is a member of the serranidae family which include sea basses, cods and groupers.
