A win there and a trip somewhere in world awaits to play in the international tournament.

The women’s section was won by Janet Humphrey on 36 points, by six from Solange Fox and seven from Jill Webster.

Malcolm Greenland won the men’s A division on 38 points, with Chris Ledden taking the B division on 35 points.

Jean Corfe and Jo Ledden won the Wednesday competition at Southbroom Golf Club last week.

They scored 44 points to win by three from Lee Mutch and Sharon Turnbull-Jackson.

The men’s competition saw Chris Miller and Olliver Ransome take first place on 44 points, by one from Malcolm Greenland and Rory O’Donnell.

Tied for third on 42 points were Rob Meydell and Richard Bridgeford, André Steyn and Craig Treherne, as well as Ken and Alex Crawford.

There’s always a lot of fun and refreshing beverages at the annual Tuna Angling Day, which was played last Sunday.

The format is a scramble drive alliance which suits the boys who roll out for their annual game of golf.

Winners on 112 points were Lourens Stapelberg, Craig Mitchell, Dalton Nyman and Juan van den Berg.

In second place were Jordan Nel, Josh Fourie, Luke Lailvaux and N Forde on 108 points, counting out Kyle Pride, Roy Manning, Tiege Goring and Brian Manning.
