Off the Hook: Summer fish are on the way

The South Coast however, is still booming with bottom fish.

ONCE again, the biggest catches have been the ever popular, geelbek, rockcod and reds.

A few garrick have been caught now and then, but they seem to be moving to different waters.

The bigger game fish have been found to the north and are luring in fishermen by the boat load!

The South Coast however, is still booming with bottom fish.

Rock and surf fishermen were also happy to see a few honeycombs and sandies – just shows that the summer flatfish are arriving.

Despite the windy weather and little bit of rain now and then fishermen still had tight lines and screaming reels.
