King rules over Chetty in snooker

It was a busy week on the snooker tables for the KZN South Snooker League at Margate Country Club and ‘getting the ball rolling’ was Basil King playing against Shawn Chetty.
Basil, who won the match 3-1, is also paired with Shawn as partners for the doubles championship, starting on Sunday, November 24.

The finals will be played on Saturday, November 30 at 3pm. Spectators are most welcome.
In other matches, Brendon Ponnan, who had a 47 point break, beat Collin Chetty 3-1.
Ivan Naidoo played Damon Schloms and they drew their match 2-2.
Damien Schloms beat Flip Fourie 3-1, while JJ Kruger and Siyanda Nkonyeni squared their game at 2-2.
Selvin Moodley, who is currently leading the KZN South Snooker League, had an impressive 60 point break and beat Mpex Mthokozisi 4-0.
The singles club championship will start on Sunday, December 1 and the finals will be played on December 13.
