THE ‘Joker’ is still amongst us and I don’t mean the movie but the card in the clubhouse.
The jackpot is now well over R7000 and it’s count down time as there are only 10 cards left, meaning you have a 10 to 1 chance of becoming R7000 richer and it’s open to everybody, not just members.

On Wednesday a betterball Stableford was the game and after a run of picking up the Stone, Nick Wattrus got back to winning ways along with partner Linda Els as they won with 42 points.
A countout for second went in favour of Derek Cowden and Alan Eriksen over the two Michaels, Eley and Marriott, both on 40 points.
Nick and Derek both picked up 2-clubs along the way and Dave Sirey with Tony Kennedy picked up the Stone.
The ladies had a practice run on Saturday for the upcoming Interclub next weekend.
Linda Els and Pathma Moodley, who are not going, won the foursomes competition with 36 points over favourites Debbie du Toit and Lauren Davey.
The members wished the six ladies a safe journey and good luck in the tournament.
Nick Wattrus kept up his winning streak as he won again on Saturday with his individual Stableford 36 points.
It was a close run thing as Barry ‘Mr Consistency’ Kisten and Brian Richards, second and third respectively, also hd the same score.
Tony Kennedy and Derek Cowden both had 2-clubs then changed positions as Derek picked up the Stone.
On Wednesday a threeball Alliance followed on Saturday by the monthly sposorship of P&G Construction betterball.
The club will be hosting a fundraiser on November 23 for Jason Gilliver in his quest to turn pro.
He will be bringing some of the professional down with him to take part in a ‘Beat the Pro’ betterball Stableford.
The competition is open to all and we would hope to make it a fantastic success, more about this nearer the time so watch this space.
