Striders toil in Toti

It was a tough day out in the heat for the runners but they pushed through.

South Coast Striders took to the road for the Goss & Balfe Sapphire Coast Marathon and Half Marathon in Amanzimtoti last Sunday.

Brino (Peter) Chidzungu ran his very first marathon and aced it by coming fourth overall and second in his age category.

Several other secured an early Comrades qualifier in the marathon.

Several runners took part in the half marathon.

Daan van Niekerk and Donnovan Mulder at the Goss & Balfe Sapphire Marathon.

Riaan van der Wath was the first Strider home in 1:34.
