Fitting reward for hard-working greenkeeper

UMKOMAAS BOWLING CLUB
THE ladies 2-4-2, which had been scheduled for October 22, had to be cancelled due to rainy conditions but the men’s 2-4-2 was able to take place two days later (Thursday).
After the problems experienced with a sewerage spill, all thanks must go to Rodney Forte, our greenkeeper, for his sterling work in getting the greens ready again for play.

The weather was favourable for the men to play and the eventual winners were Byron Matthias and Rodney Forte.
The runners-up were Kevin O’Donoghue and David Wood.
