Richard is back on track
Members are reminded that the club prizegiving will be taking place this Thursday (14th) at 4.30pm. Partners are also invited to attend.
AMBC
IT has been great to see Richard van Waltsleven back on the greens, after a long lay off, and not taking long to get back on form.
His team of himself, Billy Smith and Helen Roberts took the honours in the KBA Pro 10 held at AMBC last Wednesday, beating Bob Elliott, Brian Navias (birthday boy) and Theo Killian in the final.

It was a full house with 72 bowlers taking part, 24 of whom were beginners or non regular bowlers. Thanks to Gabby and Glynnis Corbett for supplying the eats and Keith Harris for manning the pub.
Thursday saw the playing of the monthly mixed-2-4-2, but with only one green open at the moment, organiser Mike Mordaunt made it mixed fours and 48 players vied for the prizes.

Well played to the winning team of Gina George, Tony Hoggins, Rae Stewart and Fred Hutchins on 4+23.
Runners-up were Len Brickhil, Hillary Holmes, Norma Boyd and Ron Boyd on 4+4.
Second session was won by visitors from Sezela, Alex Bukes and Nossie Patterson and AMBC locals Rose Daniels and Colin Hudson with 2+6.

Tabs in will be at the normal time of 1.45pm for 2pm and all players are to please wear their whites. Members are also reminded that Saturday tabs dress code for the next few weeks, whilst the Saturday League is taking place, will also be whites
Saturday was the start of the KBA ladies and men’s Saturday league.

AMBC A 2 points vs AMBC B 3 points; AMBC A 3 points vs Margate A 2 points; AMBC B 0 points vs The Bell 5 points;
3rd League at Scottburgh:
AMBC played Banners Rest and The Bell C and got 2.5 points for the day
