Croquet players wrap things up for year
Sezela's champion this year was Trish Greyling who won the singles tournament.
THE annual end of year awards for the local croquet club was held at the Cottage restaurant in Pennington.
Chairman Daphne Pritchard awarded certificates to six members in recognition of their achievements at the South African National Championship.
She hoped that more members would be encouraged to attend this event next year.
Sezela’s champion this year was Trish Greyling who won the singles tournament.
Jennie Craig was a worthy runner-up and Sheila Dearnaley was placed third.
Certificates for the most improved players this year were awarded to Dawn Mooney and Gail Viljoen.
The final award was made to Annette Storey for sportsmanship and courtesy.
