Windy weather makes for interesting tennis
Visitors are reminded that they are most welcome to join us for social tennis on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from about 2pm.
There was windy weather deluxe at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday and no-one knew where lobs were going to land after being whirled around in the air.
Tennis was great, though, and visitors, Sorin and Tanya Dimitriu, were most welcome.

Tisch Roos kept three courts going with military precision, sacrificing his own tennis to ensure the smooth running of sets.
Chantelle Donald was coerced into playing an extra set or two and, with a few swigs of liquid refreshment, was back to her hard-hitting game in no time.
Tweni members wish all the other South Coast club tennis players a very blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with good health, happiness and plenty of fabulous tennis.
The staff at South Coast Herald is also wished a happy festive season, and we at Tweni really appreciate the coverage given to us during 2019. Thank you for always doing your best to squeeze us in.
Two junior members celebrate their birthdays this week – Seth Cubbin on the 21st and Nathan Polinski on the 24th and they are wished a very happy day and lots of tennis in the new year.
