Herald Fishing: Get the family involved with some fun fishing
Lots of anglers fishing along the coast are catching their personal best by dropping baits with drones.

With the weather being anything but stable, you have to make the most of any opportunity that Mother Nature grants you.
As we move further into summer, fishing continues to pick up. This has been the case for inedible chasers, as well as guys looking for summer game fish.

There have been some amazing catches. Sandies on the run.
Dorado are on the bite at the moment with many guys being able to cross different fishing methods off their bucket list while targeting them.
This is the perfect time to have a bit of fun and get some of the family on board to catch these amazing (and great eating) fish.
Anglers that have fished their secret spots have caught some very good fish with edibles such as pompano, kingfish and stumpies while inedibles have been keeping the rods bent and reels screaming.
The main inedibles landed have been honeycomb rays, diamond skates and sand sharks during the day and ever-present dusky sharks making an appearance at night.

Bronzies still on the bite. There have been reports of some decent bronze bream caught between Trafalgar and the Port Edward area.
Shad are also biting, but no fireworks.
For freshwater anglers, we all know that bass love warmer waters, and even with the dam at a low level.
Reports of a lot of bass being caught in most of the dams on the coast and inland.
The size of bass have increased over the past week and many bass over 2kg are coming out.
The soft plastics have been more work in the deeper water than shallow, but that’s where hard plastics have been getting the bites.
Tight lines and screaming reels.
