Top’s Port Edward men’s pairs winners were John Keppler and Gino Alilovic.

Placed second were Neale Cary-Smith and Mark Dippenaar, with Leigh Warner and Barry Payn in third place.

The 50/50 board went to Frank Foley.

HIBBERDENE

Suzuki South Coast sponsored mixed trips was won by Bez Bezuidenhout, Hennie van Jaarsveld and Pauline Howle.

Runners-up were Estelle Quinn, Johan Heath and Anton Swanepoel.

Second session went to Jan Oosthuizen, Nora Swart and Jimmy Hay.

Hibberdene Pharmacy mixed trips is this Friday (10th).

During the past few weeks, the Re/Max mixed trips was won by Johnny Meyer, Maureen Vorster and Derick Cilliers.

Runners-up were Ollie Coetzer, Cheryl Knight and Anton Swanepoel.

Second session was won by Eddie Milne, John Hoyer and Bubbles Bezuidenhout.

Dr Govender sponsored mixed trips competition was won by Hennie van Jaarsveld, Lorraine van Heerden and Helene Oosthuizen.

Runners-up were Bez Bezuidenhout, Rienie Blignault and Joey Venter. Second session went to Jan Oosthuizen, Frances Raymond and Elize Duvenhage.

MARGATE BC

There are a number of events coming up at the club this week.

The John Dory’s 2-4-2 takes place this Friday (10th) at 1.30pm. The KBA men’s league resumes this Saturday (11th).

Social bowls is played every Sunday at 9am. Dress casual, bowls and assistance provided.

The previous week, the women’s two bowl trips, sponsored by Food Lovers Market was won by Katy Babich, Amelia Pieterse and Penny Adamson from runners-up Trixi Smith Judy Falconbridge and Brigitte Cary-Smith.

Second session went to Tammy Gibbons, Yvonne James and Lyn Harris. 50/50 to Dina van der Walt.

MUNSTER

High Rock mixed pairs winners were Rob and Marylyn Payne.

Runners-up were Phil and Jean Longden.

Second session went to Geoff Evans and Jenny Shuison. Board to Cedric Wilmore.

Hibiscus Brokers mixed trips is on Thursday (23rd).

The previous week, the Hibiscus Broker’s trips won by Joe Ashburton, George Chorononski, and Shelly Backhouse.

Second session went to Ray Martin, Katy van der Sandt and Penny Adamson.

Nomads first outing for the year will be at Southbroom Bowling Club this Sunday (12th) from 8.30am.

Food Lover’s Market mixed pairs winners were Vic Holder and Monika Eckhardt.

Runners-up were Peter Anderson and Laraine Harris. Session to Don and Shirley Russouw.

HarbourView SuperSpar women’s mixed trips was won by Jane Massam, Sandy Shepherd and Elize Hattingh. Runners-up were Tammy Gibbons, Kitty Cochman and Stippie Scholtz. Yvonne James, Rentia Williamson and Laraine Harris placed third.

SBS Tanks Durban mixed 2-4-2s was won by Alex Bukes, Tammy Gibbons and Artur Lopes.

Runners-up were Geoff Kelleher, Jane Massam and Dehlia Lew, with the session going to Richard Cochman, Danny Kock and Laraine Harris.

THE BELL

Members and all bowlers, clubs and sponsors who have supported The Bell throughout the year are wished a happy and prosperous New Year.

Harbour View SuperSpar mixed fours winners were Alex Bukes, Nossie Patterson, Rentie Stevens and Neil Patterson.

Second place went to Cyndy McMurtry, Adele Reader, Jan Purdon and Laraine Harris.

Session prize to Ann Swanepoel, Robbie Duyts, Bob Squires and Jean Squires.

Well done to Sharolyn Dacey, Keiron Dacey, Tammy Gibbons and Steve O’Moore for reaching the quarter finals of the KBA Mixed Fours.

TWENI

Razzels mixed fours was won by Jeff Barnes, Johnny Guy, Caroline Harris and Gareth Olivant.

Runners-up were Peter Clark, Barry Krause, Desiree Krause and Gerda Clark.

Session to Dennis Graham, André Lourens, Jenny Graham and Elsa Lourens.

VILLAGE

Hopden’s Kwikspar mixed 2-4-2 was won by Norman Isherwood and Marie Momple, followed by Kevin and Edith Button on a count out from Jeff Cronje and Hazel Hosken. Sessions went to Martiens and Jo Olivier and to Cleve and Julie Walker. 50/50 to Lesley Lawson. Martin Electronics men’s 2-4-2 winners were John Keppler and Steve Rennie followed by Kevin Button and Peter Griffiths. Sessions went to Gary Hess and Bill Eccles and to Bill Parfitt and Roy Robertson. 50/50 to Dave Garland.
