Off the Hook: Weather casts a damper on fishing

THANKS to some great weather during the week, fishermen had tight lines and screaming reels.

Unfortunately there was heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms over the weekend, which turning everything upside down.

Offshore fishermen have been in luck with tuna and decent-sized dorado once again.

For rock and surf anglers, brown skates and sandies were the ‘catch of the day’ along the mid South Coast areas.
