The nomination of Selvin Moodley for the position of chairman was proposed and was unanimously accepted.

The other committee members are deputy chairman Basil King, secretary Siyanda Nkonyeni, tournament/league coordinator JJ Kruger, PRO Flip Fourie and treasurer Marinda Muller.

Now that the Ugu District is affiliated to the South African Snooker and Billiards Association, players from the South Coast can show their talent by their representation at all national events.

The chairman, Selvin Moodley is confident that with determination, coaching and discipline this region will soon have a South African champion.

The league kicks off on February 17 and will consist of a premier league and an A league.

Apart from the league, players will have their hands full especially with their cues as there will be many tournaments to play throughout the season.
