Southbroom challenge for surf trials

Surf wasn't huge so the riders had to make the most of it.

THE second Ugu Surfriders trial towards qualification for the South African Junior and Seniors Champs was held at Southbroom beach last Sunday.

Thanks were extended to Wade Botha and his team of judges, who managed to judge and score some really tricky, small waves.

Also thanked were all those who helped set up and run the day, including all those who gave of their time to tabulate, marshall and make sure of a smoothly run contest.

Enjoying the sunny weather at Southbroom beach are surfers (from left) Maya Attfield, Jesse Powell, Kira Attfield and Zoey Thompson.
