Career highlights? Winning Interclub B division at Port Shepstone Country Club with two of my best mates, Jason Gilliver and Warren van Heerden.

Golf course you would love to play? Augusta.

Schools attended? Scottburgh Primary and Umdoni CA.

If you could win any of the Majors, which one? Masters.

Most famous person you have met or played golf with? Steve Hofmeyr watched me practice at the range once, does that count?

World Cup final, T20 cricket or rugby? Depends on who’s playing.

Countries you have been to? Zimbabwe.

Historical figure (dead or alive) you would like to have met? I would really like to ask Tiger Woods to be my coach.

Player you’d choose to hole a 6 foot putt to save your life? Amateur – I’d have to go with Jacques Kallis, not only is he a good golfer but he is so calm. He’d be my guy. Pro – obviously Tiger, no doubt about.

One shot or round or moment you’d like to be able to take over? There’s a few in each of these categories.

Ever broken a club? Yes, pretty much because the ball didn’t go where it was supposed to!

Any injuries you’ve had to overcome? Left wrist issues, still struggle with it sometimes.

Funniest thing you have ever experienced on golf course? Seeing a caddy master driving into a dam with a golf cart.

What irritates you most in golf? Cheaters.

Best and worst advice received? Best advice – never give up; worst advice – slap the ball when putting. I mean, what?

Advice to anyone taking up the game? Earn lots of money first.

What’s next for you? Hopefully some patience and a better swing.

Anything else you would like to add? The game of golf is such an amazing sport. And I take great joy in the fact that we get to enjoy it with so many different people. So mark your ball correctly, don’t kick it forward, don’t argue where it went into the hazard and last but not least, have fun!
