In fourth and fifth places were the two Racing Point Mercedes, driven by a very on-form Lance Stroll and healthy-again Sergio Perez, after two very good performances. Renault had three cars in the top 11.Their respective drivers were Carlos Sainz in sixth in his McLaren.Sebastian Vettel in the only surviving Ferrari was seventh.
Alexander Albon in the second Red Bull placed eighth and Pierre Gasley in the Alphatauri was ninth, while Lando Norris who had been higher in the field, finished 10th in the second McLaren.
