Runner-up spot has Umkomaas GC’s Bernardis ‘roaring’
Rounds six and seven of the Alliance League have been played, at last.
Three of Umkomaas Golf Club’s young golfers, twins Rory and Jordan Bernadis and their cousin Noah Rudwick, competed at the SA Kids Golf tournament at Royal Durban last weekend.
Ably supported by ‘Oupa coach’ Willie O’Connell the boys enjoyed a good day out, with Rory bagging second place in the U12 competition.

Rounds six and seven of the Alliance League have been played, at last.
Winners of the sixth edition were the dynamite combo of father and son, Viv and Tash Naicker and husband and wife, Willie and Sue Boucher on 90 points.
Just a point behind, runners-up were stalwarts Robbie Matthias, Dave Kemp, Chris Viljoen and Simon van den Bosch on 89.
Wind didn’t dampen scores during round seven with winners on 90 points being Robbie Matthias, Dave Kemp, Chris Viljoen and Simon van den Bosch.
Second were Peter and Linda Toward and Evija and Russell McKelvey.
Greens staff will do spring treatment this week, so the greens will be a bit sandy.
