No horsing about as Harold clinches monthly mug
Judging by the scores the spring treatment earlier in the week had little effect on the playability.
The recent soft rain was welcomed with open arms by greenkeeping staff at Umkomaas Golf Club. They have worked hard to get the spring treatment done.

Monthly medal took place recently and judging by the scores the spring treatment earlier in the week had little effect on the playability.
Winner of the Toyota Malanda Monthly Mug was Harold Horsley on nett 68.
The ladies’ division was won by Lesa Vergottini on nett 78.
In the Stableford sections, Russell Cumming won the A division on 35 points, with Francois Rossouw next on 32 points.
B division honours went to Bruce Sutcliffe on 37 points, one ahead of Neil de Villiers.
Harold Horsley cleaned up in the C division with 38 points to win by five from Mark Bezencon.
Nearest the pins were struck by Kuben Naidoo (4th), Russell McKelvey (9th), Wally Kent (13th) and Bryony Rodgers (17th).
