Join in Heno’s memorial golf day
Due to the very wet conditions only the die-hard golfers came out to play.
Scottburgh Golf Club will remember a great friend, Henry Gradwell this Saturday.
Go along and join in the festivities, play golf or have some fun and a drink.
Last Wednesday’s competition was a combined Stableford with a drawn partner.
Winning on 61 points were Tony Power and Geoff Thomasson, coming second on 57 points were Hans Beuthe and Mick Marriott.
Saturday’s competition was the monthly mug, kindly sponsored by Halfway Toyota.

Winning the A division best gross was the talented Jason Gilliver on a very good 67.
Winning the best nett was another talented young man, Darren Walker, on 74.
B Division best gross was the soon-to-be repatriated with his wife Brett Rowe on 88 gross, with Darren Walker’s older brother Gareth taking the best nett on 74.
C division was won by Tony Power with 34 points. Hans Beuthe came second on 33 points.
Winning the monthly mug on a nett of 71 was Tony Power.
Jason Gilliver took home 2 x two clubs.
The hidden holes were lost in the rain, not to be found.
The captain, Bob Hall, the vice-captain Connie de Bruyn, with Herman Grotius and Gary Jones easily managed to take the stone last trophy.
