Margate snooker team triumphs in Durban
It was a close encounter all the way but the cueists from the South Coast kept their composure to win by 26 frames to 22.
The Hillary Snooker Club from Durban invited a team of four players from Margate Snooker Club to a friendly at their venue last weekend.
It was a close encounter all the way but the cueists from the South Coast, namely Eddie Redelinghuys, Selvin Moodley, JJ Kruger and Flip Fourie kept their composure to win by 26 frames to 22.
Eddie did well by winning his last match against Herman Berkel three frames to nil.
Selvin made certain of the team victory by dropping only one of his 12 frames.
He also made breaks of 47, 33 and 31.
