Van Tichelen triumphs over Tisch at Tweni TC

The men’s singles final played at Tweni Tennis Club recently provided as much exciting tennis as the women’s final had.
In a hard-fought match, Dave van Tichelen managed to emerge the winner over Tisch Roos in a nail-biting three-setter with the score being 6-3, 4-6 and 6-4.
André Mey finished in fifth place in the men’s rankings and up-coming junior member, Michael Potgieter, was in sixth place.
André beat Michael by a very narrow margin in the third set 10-point tiebreaker, 10-9.
