Southbroom bowlers on a roll
The third round of the JustSmoked mixed pairs, played last Sunday, was won by Cleve and Julie Walker of Southbroom BC.
The JL Panelbeaters men’s fours, played at Southbroom Bowling Club last Friday, was won by Rhett Butler, Tony Waters, Cleve Walker and Glenn Hatfield. They also won the final event for the year.
The third round of the JustSmoked mixed pairs, played last Sunday, was won by Cleve and Julie Walker of Southbroom BC.
They beat Hans and Dina van der Walt of Margate BC in a count-out. The competition will be played over 13 rounds.
Meanwhile, at The Bell, the Food Lover’s Market 2-4-2 was won by Barry Krause and Winnie Hess, from Jean and Bob Squires.
In third place were Charmaine and Louw Vermeulen.
