Swimmers show progress in qualifying
Everraud Raynard added the 100m and 400m freestyle, as well as the 200m breaststroke events to the South African National Junior (SANJ) list of events he has already qualified in.
Swimmers from the Blue Ocean Aquatics swimming club excelled at the recent Ugu District age group gala, clocking up a number of qualifying times for the different upcoming championships.
Everraud Raynard added the 100m and 400m freestyle, as well as the 200m breaststroke events to the South African National Junior (SANJ) list of events he has already qualified in.
Christopher Ballack swam qualifying times for Level 3 in the 100m freestyle and 200m individual medley events, while his sister Elizabeth qualified in the 100m backstroke event.
Enzo Raynard swam qualifying times for all his events for Level 3 and Tehl-Cadi Day-Garden will also be going to Level 3 championships for her events.
Swimmers who qualified for Level 2 are George Annandale, Tharien Venter, Hannah Parry, Winé Koekemoer, Kirsty Koegelenberg, Callum Robinson, Dian Venter and Wian van Wyk.
Nelzaan Strydom and Mandy Koegelenberg (coach) are wished well at the SA Open Water championships in Jeffrey’s Bay on March 20.
