All too easy for Southbroom champions

Tied for third were Gary Purtell (78 72) and Malcolm Greenland (72 and 78) on 150.
B division honours went to Peter Volck on 81 and 87, with Johan Wentzel runner-up on 86 and 85.
Ken Crawford improved on his first day 91 with an 82.
Overall Nett was won on 142 by Malcolm Greenland, from Peter Leeming on 146.
Best Nett Saturday went to Martin Hutton on 71, from David Rush on 73.
Best Nett Sunday was won by Russell Mackenzie on 71, with Rupert Niebuhr next on 72.
In the C division, Andrew Leckie cleaned up, with scores of 40 and 42, eight ahead of Gary Brackley.
Tony Westoby claimed third spot on 71 points.
Best Saturday Stableford went to Emil Hierhold on 36 points, from Jim Cook on 32.
Best Sunday Stableford was won by Simon Shusha on 36 points, with Chris Ledden on 34 points.
Gary Purtell won the Best Gross Over 60, a score of 150, on a countout from the prize’s sponsor, Malcolm Greenland.
In the ladies champs, the closest anyone could get to Lizzie’s score of 151 was Janet Humphrey, with scores of 90 and a vastly improved 77.
Bronze division Pat O’Connor trophy winner was Irene Schanda on 185, two ahead of Shelley Myers. Michelle van der Hoek was third on 190.
The Copper Stableford June Turner Trophy was won by Heleen Hissey on 63 points, by three from Jeanette Peyios.
Overall Nett went to Alexandra Huber on 147, from Louise Leal on 149.
Saturday Nett winner was Candida Amm on 72.
Sunday Nett winner was Rene Matthew on 78.
Best Stableford on Saturday was Jill Webster with 36 points.
Stableford Sunday winner was Jo Ledden with 30 points.
